The Grandmothers project is referencing early ethnographic photography records, this deeply personal series features portraits of my grandmother shot in wet plate collodion technique.
Influenced by Slavic rituals and customs, the use of historic technique strengthens the link between the artistic approach and desire to dive into my heritage through reflection on memory, folklore and technology.
