For The Crafters series, created in partnership with the City of Poznan(PL) and local bakery Godny we set up a community-based photographic studio, getting local makers involved by using large format photography, portraiture and conversation to explore the role and value of craft today.
Using 19th century wet plate collodion technique that is a mixture of silver, light and skilled manual labour. Drawing inspiration from large format photographer August Sander this series of timeless portraits reflects on the working man.
